Navzar is an author, lecturer and consultant. He has lectured, for the last thirty-seven years, on ICAEW and ACCA exam courses in the UK, Malta, Eastern Europe and Asia. He also lectures on Continuing Professional Development courses throughout Asia-Pacific and has lectured for graduate induction courses for Schroders and UBS in London. He was the author of the textbook for the old ACCA Paper 13 on the Financial Reporting Environment published by ACCA in 1994.
He is a graduate of the London School of Economics where he read International Relations. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1976 having trained in the London office of, as it once was, Deloittes, Haskins and Sells.
He trained the first ACCA student cohort in Cambodia and Vietnam (from 1999 to 2007) and has instructed generations (ten years) of HKICPA students in Hong Kong. A majority of his students are now in management positions of the Big 4 accounting firms and other international organisations. He is internationally famous for his interesting, informative and understandable notes and relaxed lecturing style.
